Breadcrumbs.

The trail near the top of a page showing where it sits — home, then section, then this page. Marked up correctly, Google shows it in place of the raw URL in results.

Why it matters.

On a site with more than a dozen pages, breadcrumbs do two jobs: they tell a visitor arriving from search what else exists, and they tell search engines how the site is organised. They are one of the few structured data types with a visible payoff in the results themselves.

How to check it yourself.

Search Google for one of your inner pages. If the result shows a raw URL rather than a readable trail, the breadcrumb markup is missing.

Questions

Before you ask.

The same test,
on your address.

We do not guess and we do not send a report by email. Type the address, wait ten seconds, read what comes back. If your site is fine it will say so.
