Zero-click search.
A search answered on the results page itself, so nobody clicks through to any site.
Why it matters.
A growing share of searches end this way, and for local businesses that is not automatically bad: a map pack result where someone taps your phone number is a zero-click search that produced a customer. What it does mean is that ranking measured in positions and traffic measured in sessions both understate what the listing is doing.
How to check it yourself.
Compare calls received with sessions recorded for the same month. If calls are high and sessions are flat, your listing is working and your analytics cannot see it.
